What is Arabized Dynamics 365 Business Central?

Business Central is available in Saudi Arabia as a partner-localised country on Microsoft’s worldwide base application, and Arabic is not among the languages Microsoft translates the product into. In practice, that has meant finance, procurement and operations teams across the Kingdom running one of the world’s leading ERPs in a language most of their users do not think in.
Arabized Dynamics 365 Business Central is the DBS Arabia answer: a complete Arabic layer delivered on top of standard Business Central — not a surface translation of the menus, and not a parallel system. Every screen, action, field label, validation message, printed document, financial report and item description reads in clear Modern Standard Arabic, in a true right-to-left layout, using the same accounting vocabulary your team already uses every day.

Why Arabic matters for ERP adoption in Saudi Arabia
In the ERP programmes we deliver across the Kingdom and the wider GCC, the same pattern repeats: the system is live and the licences are paid, but actual usage sits well below plan. Does Microsoft offer Dynamics 365 Business Central in Arabic?
No. Arabic is not among the languages Microsoft translates Business Central into, and Saudi Arabia is listed by Microsoft as a partner-localised country. The Arabic experience is delivered by DBS Arabia as an enterprise-grade layer on top of the standard product — covering the interface, documents, reports and master data.
Is this a separate Arabic version of Business Central?
No. It is the same Business Central, the same tenant and the same data. The Arabic layer is applied through Microsoft’s language-pack and extension mechanisms, so there is no parallel system to maintain and nothing to reconcile.
Can Arabic and English run together in the same company?
Yes. Language is set per user. A local accountant works in Arabic while a regional manager or an external auditor works in English — on the same data, at the same time, without two copies of the system.
Does Arabization affect Microsoft’s regular updates?
No. Because the Arabization is delivered through approved extensions and does not modify the base code, you continue to receive Microsoft’s twice-yearly release waves on the standard path.
Which Business Central modules are Arabized?

Are printed documents and financial reports in Arabic too?
Yes. Document templates — invoices, quotes, purchase orders, statements and payslips — are built in Arabic or in a bilingual format depending on who receives them. Financial and operational reports carry Arabic titles, headers and descriptions.
Can Arabization be added to a Business Central environment implemented by another partner?
Yes. DBS Arabia regularly takes over and extends existing Business Central environments. The engagement starts with a readiness assessment of your live tenant and ends with a scope and timeline before any commitment.
How long does Arabization take on an existing environment?
